Sandgrounder radio fiery ginger Parkin

Today’s recipe was for this very fiery ginger Parkin recipe from youtuber Alexander The Bake! Ingredients 225 grams self raising flour 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda 115grams of brown sugar 100grams black treacle 15grams of golden syrup 55grams butter 20 grams of ground ginger 70grams of stem ginger in syrup finely chopped  1 egg 200ml milk Square cake tin lined with greaseproof paper Method Heat the oven to 150 degrees Mix the flour, bicarbonate, sugar and ginger in a bowl In a pan melt the butter, treacle and syrup gently over a low heat Once melted add the stem ginger Add all of this to the flour and sugar and then add the egg and milk Pour into your tin and bake for 45-55 mins until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean OR DO WHAT I DID AND STICK IT ALL IN A BOWL TOGETHER AND MIX 😂😂😂
